Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned reserach. Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in more than 900 hospitals across the U.S. and host approximately 60,000 blood drives annually.

Requirements

Extensive phlebotomy training provided
Ability to travel within a 200-mile range
Ability to work every other weekend
Must be able to work variable hours between 6am-8pm

Responsibilities

Set up and break down equipment for mobile blood drives.
Keep blood donors comfortable and informed.
Perform blood draws (paid training provided).
Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success.
Assist Vitalant’s donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors.
