About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Farmington Hills, MI. This position is responsible for performing specimen collection on patients of all ages. The role involves ensuring patient comfort and safety during the collection process, accurately labeling specimens, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is crucial for providing accurate diagnostic information to healthcare providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience in phlebotomy preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual abilities.
