About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Derby, NY. This position involves collecting specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant skills, training, and experience in phlebotomy.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
• Availability for rotational weekends.
• Understanding of laboratory procedures and specimen handling.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications obtained in phlebotomy.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from patients.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of patient samples.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
