This role represents the face of the organization to patients who come in for health routines or health decisions. The Phlebotomist will draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. They will maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures. The Phlebotomist will draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner, demonstrating leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality. They will perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor, maintaining a safe and professional environment. This role also involves performing both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures, and maintaining required records and documentation. The Phlebotomist will demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
