Under the direction of laboratory leadership, the Phlebotomist obtains accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from properly identified adult and/or pediatric patients. Identifies phlebotomy difficulties, defines appropriate solutions and coordinates resources. Maintains outstanding relationships with client and technical staff. Requirements

  • Completion of a phlebotomy program administered by an accredited postsecondary school or college or a phlebotomy training program or equivalent educ/experience.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
  • 6 months - Phlebotomy experience.
