About The Position

Responsible for phlebotomy, specimen processing, customer service and provides general office support in a clinic setting.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program of 6 months or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required.
• Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma, preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
