About The Position
This position is responsible for performing phlebotomy, processing specimens, providing customer service, and offering general office support within a clinic environment.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program of 6 months or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma, preferred
- ASCP certification preferred
