About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist - PRN to join our team for coverage of Patient Service Centers in and around Littleton, CO. 80123. This role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, data entry, and customer service across various locations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
  • 9 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
  • Coverage for Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Englewood, Aurora & surrounding areas
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed
