One Medical is a primary care solution that aims to make quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable by transforming healthcare and improving the experience for patients, providers, employers, and health networks. With seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns, One Medical has been delighting people for fifteen years. In February 2023, One Medical joined Amazon, with a shared goal of delivering exceptional health care to more consumers, employers, care team members, and health networks to achieve better health outcomes. As the company grows, it is building a diverse, driven, and empathetic team and cultivating an environment where everyone can thrive. The Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (internally known as Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) will provide an exceptional patient experience by performing venipuncture and other clinical support services. This role involves being an ambassador for patients, mastering human connection, and driving service excellence to remove barriers to care. The individual will ensure the office lobby reflects the One Medical brand, serve as the first point of contact for patients, and provide support as requested by the Practice Coordinator, Operations Manager, or providers. This role requires strong teamwork, innovative problem-solving skills, excellent specimen collection techniques, tactful interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, deliver customer-centric solutions with empathy, focus, and compassion, and demonstrate self-awareness to leverage strengths and develop areas for growth. They will thrive in a feedback-oriented culture that is nimble in responding to patient and team needs, with an unwavering drive to help and serve others.
