About The Position

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist 2 for a 3-month contract position. The role requires the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric, are essential. Flexibility in schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, is necessary due to staffing needs. The position demands adherence to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, health and safety, and guiding principles. The ideal candidate must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are required. Travel and flexible hours are necessary to work multiple locations and cover Patient Service Centers/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. The ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting, demonstrate superior customer focus, communicate openly and transparently, accelerate and embrace change, and possess knowledge of the business are key attributes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Responsibilities
