About The Position
The Arts and Humanities Department at Jefferson Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to grow our adjunct pool. Candidates are needed to teach (online or in the classroom) the following course: Introduction to Philosophy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Philosophy.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level is required.
- Must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
- We are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Responsibilities
- Teach Introduction to Philosophy course, either online or in the classroom.
