About The Position
Mel Trotter Ministries is a faith-based, nonprofit organization committed to providing safe shelter and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; strong knowledge of charitable giving
- 3–5 years of proven donor relationship success with standout fundraising results
- Well-connected in local donor and nonprofit circles
- Excellent written/verbal communication; highly organized; Microsoft Office + donor database proficiency
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio through thoughtful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Prospect new supporters (yes, including cold outreach) and track next steps
- Execute fundraising strategies for operational and campaign initiatives
- Produce clear reports using donor, numerical, and financial data
- Partner closely with teammates on communication, coordination, and special campaigns
