About The Position

Econic Partners is hiring PhD Associates to join us during the Summer of 2027 for all US office locations. We are seeking candidates who have either completed or will complete their PhD by the summer of 2027. Associates analyze complex data; conduct qualitative research; provide direction to junior staff; and assist with the preparation of client-deliverable workproduct.

Experience with STATA, SAS, R, Python, and other coding languages.
Experience conducting qualitative research.
Experience with econometric and other statistical analyses.

Experience managing case teams and junior staff.

Responsibilities

Analyzing complex economic data using a variety of tools, including STATA, SAS, R, Python, and other coding languages.
Supervising and directing research staff with respect to gathering and processing data and information.
Supervising the production of tables, graphs, and other visual representations of analytical results.
Assisting with the development and implementation of a variety of analyses, including using software packages to conduct econometric and other statistical analyses.
Conducting and supervising the execution of qualitative research assignments related to economic and industry-specific issues relevant to on-going client engagements.
Reviewing and identifying relevant information with respect to documents and other case-specific materials.
Assisting with the preparation of expert testimony and other client-deliverable workproduct.
Directing the execution of audits and ensuring the accuracy of analyses and workproduct.
Participating in internal and external meetings as requested and appropriate.
Assisting with the management of case teams and junior staff.
Communicating with clients as appropriate and directed.
Contributing to the professional development of Research Analysts.
