This full-time position, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, offers a starting pay of $17.00 with advancement opportunities in as soon as 6 months. It guarantees 40 hours per week with no direct customer interaction and provides premium pay for consistent weekends, nights, and company holidays worked. The role is for a Warehouse Associate within the Mail Order Pharmacy team, specifically as a Product Selection (filling) Technician. This technician is crucial for ensuring timely medication delivery to patients in a closed-door pharmacy setting. The role involves complex, high-impact dispensing, positively impacting lives, and working under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will be reliable, accurate, professional, team-oriented, and possess problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include all aspects of filling mail order prescriptions, manually filling prescriptions, labeling prepackaged medications, and channel filling for automated machines, working directly with medication and automated machine operations. The role requires the ability to use a 10 keypad, lift 40 pounds, stand for the entire shift, and possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted license with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or trainee on Day 1 of employment
  • Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy
  • Ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed
  • Ability to use a 10 keypad
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for the length of your shift
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff
  • Verifiable High School diploma or equivalent
