About The Position

Green Tree Pharmacy is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Triage/Billing Support Analyst to support our billing department. This role is responsible for answering customer inquiries, managing documentation, and assisting with private pay, Medicaid, and insurance-related tasks.

Requirements

Experience in pharmacy billing, and customer service preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Medicaid verification, or long-term care pharmacy systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Answer inbound customer calls and return messages within one business day
Assist private pay customers and ensure concerns are resolved promptly
Partner with Billing Analysts when accounts require research and communicate expected follow-up timelines
Monitor and respond to incoming billing emails
Document all customer interactions and account activity using Patient Notes
Assign and work documents in the Billing folder
Manage Hospice documents, including adding hospice medication lists
Monitor third-party insurance communication and distribute appropriately
Serve as backup for Accounts Receivable Analyst tasks:
Review Medicaid Pending and Medicaid Groups monthly
Check state websites for Medicaid approval and upload documentation
Rebill claims once Medicaid approval is received
Send BAE documentation when needed
Assist with additional projects as assigned
