About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, a part of The Cigna Group, is looking for high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. This role is responsible for ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and shipped appropriately within corporate and regulatory guidelines. The position is an Onsite role in Newark, Delaware, with a shift available from Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm ET and Sunday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm ET. Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond.
Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner.
Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.
Deliver straight forward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision.
Verifying, printing prescriptions and doing routine duties.
Pick up the medication and help on the packing line.
Start with training and work in a supportive environment with peers and other teams.
