About The Position

ATC Northwest is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team in a correctional facility located in Oregon. This is a 13-week assignment with an opportunity for extension based on performance and facility needs. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced and structured environment. Requirements

  • Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon.
  • Minimum of 2 year of pharmacy technician experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain background investigation to the satisfaction of Corrections.

Nice To Haves

  • correctional or institutional experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration and patient care.
  • Adhere to strict safety and security protocols within the correctional facility.
