Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join its team. Under the supervision of pharmacists, the technician performs pharmacy order entry and clerical duties, controls inventory, distributes medications, delivers floor stock, prepares IV admixtures using sterile technique, maintains distribution records, and assists with nursing inspections. The role also participates in performance improvement and data collection activities and provides pharmaceutical care for neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Other tasks may be assigned by pharmacists.
Requirements
- California State Pharmacy Technician License.
- High school diploma or equivalent for new hires, effective January 2013.

- Previous experience in Pharmacy is preferred.
