About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician assists with the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy at Union Community Care, working under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist to provide excellent service. The role includes preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; entering orders; procuring drugs; billing prescriptions; and assisting with pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The technician follows written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements and performs other duties as assigned.

The position is based at the Church St. location in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and is identified as a Lancaster/Lebanon float role. The technician must participate in mandatory all-staff meetings, team meetings, and trainings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed or certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with 340B.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
