About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for their Frisco, TX location. This is a full-time position with compensation dependent on the candidate's years of experience, with a minimum hourly pay of $18.25. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required based on state requirement.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prints out and fills label requests for First dose or Stat medications.
• Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.
