About The Position

Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a passionate Pharmacy Technician who is dedicated to patient care. This role offers a great work-life balance with evenings and weekends off. Each employee is provided with their own workstation, including a desk, chair, computer, and headset, to ensure productivity and organization. Communication with patients is primarily via phone, requiring an excellent phone presence: friendly, professional, and well-spoken.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required
• Pharmacy License is required to start
• Must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred
• Pharmacy experience is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Label and prepare products for patients
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Coordinate patient deliveries
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized
• Complete insurance verification
• Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable
• Bill and charge credit cards
• Keep patient information up to date
