As our newest Pharmacy Technician, you'll be the face of our pharmacy – the trusted professional who connects with customers when they need help most, expertly processes prescriptions with precision and care, maintains our pristine and organized pharmacy environment, collaborates with our pharmacist to provide exceptional care, and verifies patient information with careful attention to detail. You will review prescriptions for validity and accuracy before processing, expertly process electronic prescriptions with precision and care, problem-solve insurance issues to ensure patients receive their medications, precisely measure and select the right medications for each prescription, maintain inventory by sorting, stocking, and labeling medications, handle administrative record-keeping to keep our pharmacy running smoothly, ensure a clean, safe environment by sterilizing surfaces and equipment, uphold the highest standards of security and quality in all tasks, protect patient privacy through strict HIPAA compliance, and adapt to additional responsibilities as our pharmacy's needs evolve.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Must be 18+ years old
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy tech experience
- Experience with digital prescription systems
