About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and effective communication standards, and help foster a safe, inclusive environment where patients and colleagues feel valued. After starting the role, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Depending on state law and required training, Technicians may also support immunizations and other patient health services, including point-of-care testing and offsite clinics. Eligible Technicians may obtain Technician Immunizer status and assist with vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referrals, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, patient information documentation, and vaccine supply management. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. The typical pay range is $17.15–$27.15 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography. The position is eligible for a range of benefits and programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, and certain voluntary benefits.
