Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Hesperia, CA
•$19 - $29

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patients receive caring service. Technicians follow company Standard Operating Procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable legal and ethical requirements, while communicating effectively and contributing to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting, technicians must complete a company training program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements of their state Board of Pharmacy. Until these requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, technicians may provide additional health care services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. In states where technician immunization support is permitted, additional licensure and training may be required to prepare and administer vaccines. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $18.90–$28.90. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Eligible benefits and programs may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, and access to certain voluntary benefits, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
