About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician, your day is focused on ensuring an accurate and efficient experience for patients while working under the supervision of a pharmacist. You assist with processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications within regulatory guidelines. Customer interaction is a regular part of the role, whether answering questions, processing transactions, or directing clinical questions to the pharmacist. Another part of the role is maintaining organization and consistency within the pharmacy. You’ll manage records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean while following federal and state regulations. Between handling prescription workflows, maintaining compliance, and assisting with daily operations, the work stays steady making it a good fit for someone who values accuracy, structure, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on location requirements)
  • Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable
  • Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
  • Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

  • Prescription Processing: Experience assisting with data entry, medication preparation, and order processing within regulatory limits
