About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, a part of The Cigna Group, is looking for high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. Members of this team are tasked with ensuring prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately so they can arrive in the hands of the 100 million patients whose health depends on their delivery. This role is worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite. The shift available is Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm (2nd shift), and this position may be eligible for a shift differential for a portion of the shift. Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required
Basic math skills
General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.

Nice To Haves

Certification preferred.
1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond.
Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner.
Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.
Deliver straight forward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision.
Verify, print prescriptions, and do routine duties.
Pick up the medication and help on the packing line.
