About The Position

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the technician assists with providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in the hospital pharmacy. The hospital provides rehabilitation care for individuals facing brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician, where required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Print and fill label requests for first-dose or stat medications.
• Deliver supplies and medications to other departments as needed.
