About The Position
Assists in the preparation and filling of all medications necessary for the oncology service line for inpatient and outpatient services. Supports all department initiatives and daily workflow/maintenance of oncology satellite and all patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma, graduate of an accredited technician training program or equivalent experience
- Pharmacy Technician Certification required
- State Board Pharmacy Technician Licensure Preferred
Responsibilities
- Participates in the medication distribution system within TJUH.
- Prepares parenteral products using aseptic technique.
- Assures the provision of quality pharmacy services.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
