About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This role primarily involves assisting patients with prescription pick-up, managing front desk responsibilities, and handling incoming phone calls. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine pharmacy tasks
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred; new graduates welcome
- Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with prescription pick-up and provide excellent customer service
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in and payment processing
- Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists regarding prescription status and patient needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Keep the front desk and patient areas organized and professional
- Support pharmacy workflow as needed
