About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the licensed pharmacist, assists in the various activities of the Retail Pharmacy Department. The technician functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. This person will occasionally be scheduled at all retail pharmacy locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
- Extensive retail pharmacy technician experience required.
- Current registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the various activities of the Retail Pharmacy Department under the direct supervision of the licensed pharmacist.
- Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
- May be scheduled at all retail pharmacy locations.
- May have the opportunity to pick up extra shifts in Garrison, Aitkin, McGregor occasionally.
