About The Position

At CVS Health retail locations, Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment. After starting in the role, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are completed. Depending on state law and required training, Technicians may also support services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Technician Immunizers must complete additional training and licensure requirements before preparing or administering vaccines. This part-time position has an anticipated schedule of 25 hours per week. The typical pay range is $17.16–$27.16 per hour. The actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
