About The Position

Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a passionate individual to join their team as a Pharmacy Technician. This role emphasizes patient care and work-life balance, offering evenings and weekends off. Each employee is provided with their own workstation, including a desk, chair, computer, and headset, to ensure productivity and organization. The primary communication with patients is via phone, requiring an excellent phone presence characterized by friendliness, professionalism, and clear speaking.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required
• Excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred
• Pharmacy experience is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Label and prepare products for patients
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Coordinate patient deliveries
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized
• Complete insurance verification
• Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable
• Bill and charge credit cards
• Keep patient information up to date
