About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support the accurate and timely preparation of medications for patients. The role supports patient care by managing medication orders, maintaining inventory, and delivering medications to patient care areas, contributing to patient safety and well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Michigan.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and type approximately 25 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter medication orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Prepare medications and labels for dispensing.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Maintain drug inventory in dispensing areas.
• Maintain appropriate records and process medication charges for services rendered.
