About The Position

This role is responsible for refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems, preparing orders and maintaining inventory for the Pharmacy department, preparing sterile and non-sterile compounds, repackaging bulk medications, and receiving and storing incoming supplies. The Pharmacy Technician will also triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between the pharmacy, patient, and health professionals by providing information.

Requirements

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required.
Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Completion of Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
Retail/Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
