Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Easton, PA

About The Position

At CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patients receive caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and best practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment. After starting in the role, they must complete the company training program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements set by their state Board of Pharmacy. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Technicians contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations, including prescription workflow, patient service, inventory activities, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, ethical principles, and CVS policies. Depending on state law and required training and certification, they may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and support related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction response, and vaccine supply management. This is a part-time position with 25 anticipated weekly hours. Regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. Eligible part-time colleagues may have access to benefits and programs supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-being, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, and certain voluntary benefits, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
