About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and professional standards, while contributing to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy the registration, licensing, and certification requirements applicable under their State Board of Pharmacy. Technician Immunizers complete additional licensure and training, educate patients about vaccines, refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs require.
