•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. After starting the role, technicians must complete the company’s training program and meet applicable state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are satisfied, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict certain duties. Depending on state law, training, and certification, technicians may also support health services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Where permitted, technician immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, supply management, and adverse-reaction response.
