CVS Health•North Olmsted, OH

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while delivering caring, personalized service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. The Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are completed. Technicians may also provide additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics, when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines after completing applicable training and licensure requirements. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs arise.
