Pharmacy Technician - 2nd Shift
About The Position

Pharmacy4Humanity is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to contribute to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level I Technician. This role enhances the reputation of AHF by being sensitive to the “stigma” of HIV and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy. The Pharmacy Technician will be a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives and ensure the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Pharmacy Technician will work as a part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.
Requirements
- State Pharmacy Technician License
- PTCB
- IMZ
- CPR preferrable
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the competencies of a Level I Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual.
- Be sensitive to the “stigma” of HIV and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy.
- Be a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives.
- Ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do.
- Work as a part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.
