About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately; assist patients as a first point of contact; and provide caring service in coordination with the pharmacy team. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are satisfied, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict assigned duties. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Technician immunizers must meet additional state requirements and may help prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients, refer clinical questions to the pharmacist, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a full-time position with 30 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. The position is eligible for a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
