About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- NYS Pharmacy Technician registration required.
- PTCB or NHA certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an acute care facility Pharmacy department strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records and assisting in filling Intravenous antibiotics.
- Filling, trouble shooting and maintain automated dispensing machine.
- Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule.
- Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.
