Pharmacy Technician - Evenings and Weekends Off!
About The Position
Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about patient care. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and labeling products for patients, processing prescriptions using computer software, and managing inventory. The technician will also coordinate patient deliveries, maintain pharmacy cleanliness, handle insurance verification, apply manufacturers coupons, process credit card payments, and keep patient information updated. A key aspect of this role is communicating with patients primarily through the phone, requiring a friendly, professional, and well-spoken demeanor.
Requirements
- High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) strongly preferred
- Previous Pharmacy Experience of 1-3 years strongly preferred
- Spanish language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
