About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician assists in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging medication orders under pharmacist supervision. The role processes new medication orders, discharges, and transfers; stocks medications and manages inventory; participates in pharmacy quality assurance activities; and assists pharmacists with various duties. The technician also prepares and delivers IV sterile products under pharmacist supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Current Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician licensure.
- BLS certification.

- Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
- IV experience.
- Pharmacy Technician certification.
