About The Position

Individuals applying for this position should be willing to make lasting connections with our customers, stock, assemble and distribute medications for our customers quickly and efficiently, protect customer and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, maintain records by recording and filing physician’s orders and prescriptions, train as a cashier, and work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department. They should also be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High School Degree or GED required
Lifting/carrying to 10 lbs.
Pushing/pulling to 20 force pounds
Reaching, standing, turning
Scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine operation
Judgment/decision making
Social skills/verbal interaction
Memorization
Reading, writing, math, computer skills
Lifting/carrying over 10 lbs.
Squatting, stooping/bending, walking

Nice To Haves

Friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team
Experience working in a pharmacy department (2-3 years preferred)
Knowledge of maintaining customer confidentiality
Knowledge of removing outdated drugs
Motivated to grow their career and continue learning
