About The Position

PharmcareUSA is seeking an overnight Pharmacy Technician. This position is specifically for the overnight schedule, with a 7 on - 7 off, rotating schedule. Pay is commensurate with experience in LTC. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, FSA/ HSA, Paid time off and Holidays available for full time employees. Candidate must be certified as a pharmacy technician in the state in which they will be working, and available to work Full Time, including weekends.

Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PPT
Excellent communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacist with input (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions
Perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed
Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities
Answer telephone calls, assist caller when appropriate, or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate
Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule
Assist any walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department
Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management
Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management
Maintain Pharmacy Technician License/Certification
Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
