Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program
• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to pass a background check
• MUST BE AVALABLE FOR WEEKENDS

Nice To Haves

• Previous pharmacy tech experience
• Experience with digital prescription systems
• Strong knowledge of medications and medical terminology
• Genuine passion for customer care and community health

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information with careful attention to detail
• Reviews prescriptions for validity and accuracy before processing
• Expertly processes electronic prescriptions with precision and care
• Problem-solves insurance issues to ensure patients receive their medications
• Precisely measures and selects the right medications for each prescription
• Maintains inventory by sorting, stocking, and labeling medications
• Handles administrative record-keeping to keep our pharmacy running smoothly
• Ensures a clean, safe environment by sterilizing surfaces and equipment
• Upholds the highest standards of security and quality in all tasks
• Protects patient privacy through strict HIPAA compliance
• Adapts to additional responsibilities as our pharmacy's needs evolve
