Pharmacy Technician - Evenings and Weekends Off!
About The Position
Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about patient care. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and labeling products for patients, processing prescriptions using computer software, monitoring medication inventory, coordinating deliveries, maintaining pharmacy cleanliness, performing insurance verification, applying manufacturer coupons, processing credit card payments, and updating patient information. Strong phone presence with friendly, professional, and well-spoken communication skills are essential. While prior pharmacy experience is not required, it is appreciated.
Requirements
- High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
- State technician license is required.
- Must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service!
- Label and prepare products for patients.
- Process prescriptions using computer software.
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
- Coordinate patient deliveries.
- Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
- Complete insurance verification.
- Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.
- Bill and charge credit cards.
- Keep patient information up to date.
