Advocate for patient safety as part of an empowered team by adhering to stringent standards. Update the patient census using Omnicell pharmacy inventory automation systems. Assist with the training of students, interns and new technicians. Many of our pharmacy techs go on to become licensed pharmacists within our hospital. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
New York State Pharmacy Technician License
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail environment
