About The Position

MTM Pharmacy is hiring a full-time or part-time bilingual Vietnamese/English pharmacy technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills. We like excellent customer service, proficiency in multitasking, working well in fast paced environment, dedication, and kind to patients, strong communication skills, honesty, hard work, & genuine.

Requirements

Prior experience as a pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician.
Be able to speak both Vietnamese and English fluently.

Responsibilities

Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly.
Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level.
Anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.
Maintained a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
Read the medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days' supply.
Fill medications, assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
