Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
Salud is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Fort Collins, Co. The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medication to customers and patients according to prescribed methods. This role approaches tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. Salud is committed to providing a Medical Home where medical, dental, behavioral health services, and clinical pharmacists work together and coordinate efforts in a team-based system of care, serving all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Requirements
- Computer skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for email, basic Internet knowledge, and multi-line phone experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
- One year of general pharmacy experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is desired.
- A Pharmacy Technician must obtain a certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (Board) before their start date.
- If granted a provisional certification, the employee must pass their CPHT examination in the time frame required by the State Board of Pharmacy (18 months), or be granted an extension by the State Board, allowing them to maintain their provisional licensure.
- Valid and current licensure by the state must be maintained to ensure continued employment.
