About The Position

Supports pharmacists in the daily operations of the pharmacy. Package medications according to standard procedures including blister cards, unit dose packaging, compliance packaging, and vial fill. Assists with maintenance of an adequate inventory of medications and other supplies. Prepares compounds per physician’s order under supervision of a pharmacist. Labels prescriptions accurately, including informational labels, e.g. cautionary and auxiliary labels. Prepares medication for delivery to customers. Assists in maintenance and documentation of appropriate environmental controls in compliance with state and federal regulations. Adhere to HIPAA and FDA regulations and also maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment. Strives for compliance by all staff with internal controls and state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Must be able to work a flexible shift including evenings and weekends
• Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines
• Strong organization skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
